Maya & Her Kind Heart – A Short Story
Once upon a time, in a small town filled with hope and curiosity, there lived a young woman named Maya. Maya possessed a kind heart and a deep desire to help others. Her journey led her to explore the realm of distant healing, a practice that fascinated her immensely.
Maya believed that through distant healing, she could channel healing light and positively impact the lives of those in need. She saw it as a way to create miracles, not just for herself but for others as well. She began experimenting with this newfound power, using it to manifest her desires. Maya was delighted to witness its effects, as her intentions manifested into reality.
Driven by her enthusiasm, Maya couldn’t resist offering distant healing to those around her. One day, a friend approached her, seeking help for someone suffering from lung congestion. Eager to assist, Maya began sending her healing energy through distant healing. Filled with anticipation, she eagerly awaited news of the person’s recovery.
However, when she inquired about the person’s well-being after a couple of days, Maya received an unexpected response. Her friend casually mentioned that the person had indeed recovered, attributing it to the expensive and advanced medications they had taken. Maya’s heart sank, realizing that her distant healing might not have played a significant role after all.
This incident left Maya disillusioned and disheartened. She pondered over the gratitude and appreciation she had hoped for. Her Reiki master had advised her to charge even a small fee for her time, effort, and love. Maya couldn’t help but wonder if people truly valued something that came freely.
Months later, the same friend approached Maya again, seeking her assistance for the same ailment. This time, Maya had already decided to step away from distant healing. She suggested that her friend continue with the advanced medications that had previously worked. Though her friend insisted on blessings and more healing, Maya firmly declined, bringing the conversation to an end.
As Maya continued her quest for knowledge and spiritual growth, she stumbled upon Sahaj Yoga Meditation. Within this practice, she discovered a concept called “bandhan.” It involved redirecting the attention of divine entities, such as angels, ganas, and deities, towards those in distress. This way, Maya realized she could remain caring and compassionate without directly interfering in someone’s karmic journey.
Maya learned that divine entities possess the wisdom to understand the reasons behind a soul’s suffering. By invoking their assistance, she could ensure the correct energies were directed towards helping those in need. This method allowed her to remain connected and compassionate while avoiding the interference that could invoke the wrath of invisible souls or spirits responsible for the suffering.
Reflecting on her experiences, Maya realized the importance of caution when delving into unknown realms. She understood the need to avoid inviting unauthorized entities into her life, entities that could potentially cause havoc. Maya’s journey taught her that while her intentions were noble, she needed to respect the boundaries of karma and be mindful of the consequences of her actions.
And so, Maya continued her path with a newfound wisdom and awareness. She embraced the concept of “bandhan” and found solace in knowing that her caring intentions could still make a difference without crossing the boundaries of karma. Maya became a beacon of light, using her knowledge and experiences to guide others on their own journeys, reminding them to be cautious and compassionate in equal measure.
