What if criminals were never punished, and sinners always got away?

If criminals were allowed to roam free, society would collapse into chaos. Some would turn to crime because of their upbringing or criminal tendencies, while others would do so in self-defense—striking before they’re struck. That’s why we have the police — not just to catch and punish wrongdoers, but to instill fear of consequences. Fear of jail, public disgrace, or rejection by society keeps many from turning into criminals.

Similarly, if sinners faced no consequences, sin would spread like wildfire. If cheating, stealing, looting, or even murdering brought rewards instead of punishment, people would eventually stop believing in goodness. Souls would fall into the hands of negativity, and the world would lose its balance — no justice, no peace, no love. History remembers such times as the Dark Ages.

Negative emotions like lust, greed, anger, jealousy, and revenge act as doors to Hell. The moment we surrender to them, we start walking a path far away from light, truth, and happiness.

They say Heaven and Hell exist here on Earth — and it’s true, though we see only a glimpse. The misery of slum dwellers, the loneliness of the rich — these are just hints for the soul, reminders of choices and consequences. Each soul is given free will to walk toward either light or darkness.

Now consider this:

These are just a few combinations of existence on Earth. But as aware human beings, we must aim for balance — emotionally, materially, and spiritually.

And for that, humanity needs a shift in priorities. Only then can we begin to shape a better, more meaningful world.
